Educating students with disabilities in inclusive settings with appropriate supports are becoming the norm in Ohio schools, but building the capacity of staff to support inclusive practices takes time. With the intent to increase student participation in regular education settings, participants will explore the inclusive frameworks of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), differentiation, and co-teaching. Helpful tools and resources for implementation of inclusive practices will be provided.
Participants are also encouraged to attend the morning session on Overview of the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) Determinations and Inclusive Practices.
