Collaborative Leadership Series

18 July 2017

Collaborative Leadership incorporates both transformational and instructional leadership while ensuring all stakeholders are included as active participants. Collaborative leaders are responsible for inspiring and modeling learning, but they also make sure the co-constructed goals set to be accomplished have the support, and understanding of the various stakeholders involved, whether, teachers, families, other district officials or relevant community members.

This two day series will highlight the definition and complexes of collaborative leadership; the 6 high effect influences on learning from John Hattie’s research how to redesign the structures they have in place to help them have deeper and more impactful conversations with teachers and parents; ability to identify effective strategies for improvement and how to increase consistency in providing feedback to teachers based on a common set of agreed upon effective components of teaching.
