This four part series examines both Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and differentiated instruction. The UDL framework highlights the need for multiple approaches to meet the diverse needs of learners. Participants will develop an understanding of UDL, differentiated instruction, and how to apply the principles in an early childhood setting.
Session 4: Differentiated Instruction, March 12, 2018
Differentiated instruction builds a respectful classroom environment in which all children have access to learning. Participants will understand how to use assessment data to effectively differentiate instruction for all children and will engage in purposeful planning, based on standards.
