Utilizing the ODE Decision Framework and Support School Tool for School Improvement

The history and criteria of Ohio’s district and building differentiated accountability designations will be reviewed. District and building interventions and support requirements will be discussed for each designation. Participants will learn the essential connections among (1) FY18 needs assessments; (2) developing and monitoring the district and building improvement plans; (3) OIP BLT and TBT templates; (4) collaborative team structures and meeting schedules; (5) the 5-Step process; (6) timelines and documentation required for submission in the Support School Monitoring tool; and (7) OIP and OLAC resources. Each participant is encourage to bring a laptop and SAFE account/password to access the Decision Framework (DF) as well as other resources such as CCIP, Report Cards, OIP, and OLAC.
