Participants will receive a brief overview of Transition Requirements as outlined in Ohio Operating Standards. We will then dive deeper into understanding how to effectively use Age Appropriate Transition Assessments to identify a students Preference, Interests, Needs and Strengths (PINS) to create meaningful and purposeful transition activities that will lead the student to meet their Post Secondary Transition Goals. Prerequisite: Complete the Learning Management System (LMS) module titled Special Education Essentials, Module 3: Secondary Transition for Students with Disabilities: Office for Exceptional Children.
