Special Education Supports

The Individuals with Disabilities Education and Improvement Act (IDEIA) is a federal law that provides some funding to states to educate students receiving special education services. Infants and toddlers with disabilities (birth-2) and their families receive intervention services under Part C. Children and youth (ages 3-21) receive special education and related services under Part B.
