This year’s Summit will once again be virtual. The purpose of the Summit is to move our systems beyond trauma informed to trauma competent with specific focus on Trauma-Informed Care in a Pandemic. As the COVID-19 pandemic spreads across the globe, we are in the midst of uncertainty and upheaval. Where the focus may often be on recognizing COVID-19 symptoms during this time, it is also important to recognize that this time of crisis and trauma may lead to many physical, emotional, social, relational, and spiritual challenges for many.
